An Escrow Account is a type of trust account held by a third party, whether it be of monetary value, a deed, or a written document. This value of property is to be held until further underlying obligations have been performed, and once performed, will then be disbursed to the appropriate person along with the terms and conditions as prescribed by the client.
Currently, there are no escrow accounts available as yet in Thailand, despite the introduction of it in December of 2007 where the National Legislative Assembly introduced such a law of escrows, however, this did not take off in Thailand due to misunderstandings and the major difference between common and civil law, namely, the law of trusts in which technically does not exist in Thailand. To rectify the circumstances, we at Juslaws & Consult do provide minor Escrow Account Services for minor transactions.
We are able to hold an amount of money to be disbursed to any individual or company based on the terms and conditions prescribed by you. Our price may vary depending on the circumstances of each client and the amount that is being held.
